Practical answers for Alpha testers and anyone exploring Monatry. For more detail in the app, open Settings → Help & Guidance.
What is Monatry?
Monatry helps people manage their money by helping them understand it. It brings together known income, commitments, planned spending and transfers so you can see what lies ahead — from today to your next payday and beyond.
Is Monatry a budgeting app?
Not primarily. Many budgeting products help allocate money into categories. Monatry focuses on understanding what your money needs to do over time, based on known information — including a practical outcome of knowing how much you can safely spend.
What information do I need to enter?
Known income and commitments: salary or other income, bills, subscriptions, planned purchases, and transfers between accounts. Monatry works with what you tell it.
Does Monatry predict unknown spending?
No. Monatry forecasts what it knows. It does not guess spending you have not planned.
What does Alpha mean?
Alpha is an early version shared with a limited group of testers. Features and wording may change. Bugs are possible. Treat forecasts as a planning aid, not your only financial record.
Is Monatry financial advice?
No. Monatry is a planning tool. Forecasts are estimates based on information you enter. They are not financial, tax or investment advice. Keep your own records and check important decisions independently.
How do I start?
Share your interest on Join Alpha with your name and email. We invite a small number of people at a time. When you are invited, use the enrolment page to choose iPhone or Android and follow the install steps. If you already enrolled and need install guidance again, use Get the App.
Which devices are supported?
Monatry Alpha is built for iPhone and Android. After you are invited and enrol, iPhone testers install with TestFlight. Android testers enrol with the Google account they use in Google Play; we enable Play access and email you when you can install. Creating your Monatry app account happens after you install.
I already registered — where are the install steps?
Open Get the App for iPhone TestFlight and Android access guidance. Invited testers can also use the enrolment page and choose “Already registered? See the install steps again.” That path shows install guidance without checking whether a particular email is on the Alpha list.
How do I provide feedback?
In the app: Settings → Send Feedback (version and platform are included automatically). On the website: the feedback form on the home page. A screenshot of the screen (without balances) helps. Do not include passwords or account numbers.
How is my information protected?
Your workspace is stored in your account. Practical protections such as password rules, inactivity timeout, and optional biometric or device authentication to re-enter the app (where supported) are part of the wider Alpha readiness direction. Monatry does not invent a separate PIN. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and why. We do not use unverified security marketing claims.
Can I try without using my real money details?
Yes. Use Show Demo on the sign-in screen to explore a sample household. Demo changes are not saved to a real account.
Who do I contact?
[email protected] or the Contact page. Prefer Send Feedback for product issues so we get version context.
