Account deletion.

How to delete your Monatry account and the data associated with it.

This page is for people who use Monatry (including the Alpha app and website) and want their account and associated personal or app data deleted. You do not need to sign in to read these instructions.

Delete your account from within Monatry

  1. Sign in to Monatry (web app or installed app).
  2. Open Settings, then Password & Security.
  3. Under Delete account, choose Delete my account.
  4. Confirm with Yes, permanently delete.

When this completes successfully, deletion of your Monatry account and the associated app data described below is permanent and cannot be undone from within Monatry.

If you cannot access the app

Email [email protected] and ask for your Monatry account to be deleted. Include the email address on your Monatry account. Do not include your password, balances, or account numbers.

What is deleted

In-app account deletion removes your Monatry sign-in account and the associated personal and app data held for that account, including:

  • Your Monatry user profile and Firebase Auth sign-in account
  • Your workspace and forecast or planning data you entered (for example accounts, income and commitment items, categories, planned and actual spending, savings goals, and related workspace settings)
  • Cloud backups and related stored files for that workspace (including Actual Spending receipt files, attachments, and temporary Smart Capture files where present)

What may remain

The following are collected separately from your signed-in workspace and are not removed by the in-app Delete account action:

  • Alpha Programme registration interest (name and email submitted on this website)
  • Feedback messages you sent in-app or via this website, and related notification copies held for support

To request removal of those records, email [email protected]. Monatry does not publish a fixed retention period for those records in the current Privacy Policy.
